The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing all HR functions at UVIMCO including:
1. Serve as an expert for candidate recruiting; collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs; develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. 2. Create postings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring manager/hiring committee, administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, and deliver employment offers. 3. Develop and maintain job descriptions and compensation data for all UVIMCO positions. 4. Oversee the completion of annual performance appraisals. 5. Resolve employee relations issues. 6. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies and procedures across the organization. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. 7. Manage work related visa process.
The ideal candidate has experience in recruiting and other HR functional areas in the investment management industry, a high level of financial and business acumen, verbal and written communication skills, and relationship management skills. Able to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. Highly flexible in a fast-paced environment with evolving reporting requirements and job responsibilities.
1. Undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration or a related field, and 7 years progressive experience in a Human Resources environment. 2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/applicant tracking systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus. 3. Knowledge of payroll procedures, employee benefit plans, and workers compensation. 4. Knowledge of work related visa processing is preferred. 5. Professional designation, such as PHR, SPHR preferred.
