The Vice President /Trust represents Wealth Management at TheBANK in the administration of client accounts and is responsible for the plan, design, and marketing of the services offered. The VP/Trust is responsible for the development of new business relationships for TheBANK. The VP/Trust may supervise support staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the overall management of the Trust department regarding policy decisions, fee schedules, investment parameters, and acceptance of new business
Administer various types of trust and investment management accounts
Solicit new business for Wealth Management at TheBANK
Analyze financial information from clients to determine strategies for meeting client’s financial objectives.
Maintain a working knowledge of trust regulations, policies and procedures to ensure account and department compliance.
Coach, mentor, and supervise support staff by assigning duties, answering questions, solving problems, and explaining new ideas and changes in policy and procedures
Responsible for training, conducting performance evaluations, maintaining staff files, and making recommendations for hiring promotion, transfer, or termination of support staff
Sell and promote TheBANK’s Retail, Loan, and Wealth products to potential and existing customers

Increase TheBANK’s visibility and retain and expand business relationships by participating and networking in community and other service programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Requires independence in decision making and problem solving and may require immediate action affecting TheBANK
Ability to present, explain, and sell trust and investment management services
Four year college degree, Trust or investment certifications, or equivalent training
Over five years trust experience including knowledge of Trust Accounting System software
Requires independent judgment in setting priorities and meeting deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Requires setting schedules and prioritizing tasks within the general department priorities and deadlines
Requires exceptional interpersonal skills that involve multiple contacts within and outside TheBANK
Responsible for the production of new business for Wealth Management in the assigned markets
Working conditions often involve intense concentration and stressful conditions
