The Investment Analyst is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the investment management process. The Investment Analyst will work closely with the rest of the investment team and is expected to provide thoughtful analysis and insight for both existing and prospective investment opportunities. This individual will find creative ways to source, research, and evaluate investment ideas and will be responsible for performing a wide variety of analyses on existing investment positions, managers, and asset classes. This individual will be expected to attend manager meetings and play a key support role in making presentations and recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee of the A&M Foundation. This individual reports to the Investment Director.
Required Education and Experience:
Qualifications: 1. Baccalaureate degree in finance or accounting. 2. Working towards CFA designation. 3. General working experience with Microsoft Office required. 4. Intermediate skills or higher in PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional presentations required. 5. Intermediate experience with Excel preferred. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required. 7. Familiarity with modern portfolio theory and basic knowledge of capital market structures.
