Develop service and maintain deposit and loan relationships with Consumer and Business Banking clients and prospects. Manage, through subordinate supervisory personnel, a Retail Branch facility and all activities related to the daily operations and supervision of branch employees.
Prepare and coordinate a business development sales plan by establishing market areas, goals, and performance standards and analyze and report sales statistics and results
Directs, participates and administers the sales plan and service standards, follows bank security measures and procedures, providing employee coaching and training
Prepare the annual branch budget and monitor activity to identify trends or variance
Encourage the growth and professional development of licensed branch personnel for the sale of Non-deposit investment products and credit Life and Mortgage Life products.
Directs and coordinates branch facility maintenance
Direct and Coordinate, through subordinate supervisory personnel, the activities of branch employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations and disciplinary action
Make sales calls on current and prospective clients
Analyze client’s needs, developing creative solutions for their financial needs
Cross sell other banking services, such as Investment Management and Trust services
Network with other calling officers for referrals
Evaluate loan requests and seek required approvals, if required
Remain current on changes to relevant federal/state laws
Customer portfolio management
Support of other bank officers with customers, prospecting, proposals, and referrals
Be involved in community activities, demonstrating our commitment in the communities we serve
College degree and 4 years’ experience in field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of the appropriate State and Federal laws and regulations
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Strong sales skills with the ability to coach, mentor and train employees
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines and deliverables.
Basic PC skills, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel software
Knowledge of CRM, train, coach and mentor staff with this sales related initiative.
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time Monday – Friday Hours will vary between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturdays as needed.
